Rubio Monocoat FR Base is a fire-retardant primer that is used as a base coat for Rubio Monocoat FR Oil. Is a one-of-a-kind fire-retardant oil system that offers exceptional protection and safety. Designed with cutting-edge technology, this system has achieved the prestigious Bfl-s1 certification on oak (5 mm top layer), making it the world’s first flame-retardant oil system to attain this level of performance. Additionally, the Rubio Monocoat FR Oil System has obtained a Cfl-S1 certificate with a 2.5 mm oak top layer, further demonstrating its outstanding fire-retardant capabilities.

Following the application of the RMC FR Base, the system is completed with the finish of the RMC FR Oil 2C. STEP 1. Sand the surface and eliminate dust.

STEP 2. Apply Rubio Monocoat FR Base with a brush or roller. Then polish with a polishing machine with a white pad (polishing rag). Handle zones from 5 to 10 m2 at a time.

STEP 3. Allow the surface to dry. The drying time is approximately 12 hours at room temperature (depending on ventilation and humidity).
