Ciranova Hardwax Oil is an easy to use, fast drying and durable hardwax oil suitable for all interior unfinished wooden surfaces. Available in 16 contemporary colours.
PREPARATION
Make sure that all old finish coats are completely removed and that the wood is free from dust and other dirt. Sanding using the correct method : deep sanding with 60-80-100 grit then sanding with 100 grit. Can be used on sanded, planed, and brushed wood. When using HARDWAXOIL EFFECT BRONZE or METALLIC, its recommended to brush the floor first.
APPLICATION
Stir and shake well before and during use. Apply HARDWAXOIL evenly with a buffing machine, brush or cloth. Let the HARDWAXOIL settle and remove any excess oil within a few minutes by brushing it with a pad or cloth until the surface feels handdry. Hardwood like oak require 2 layers. Multipe layers can be applied for soft wood. For exotic wood types, the HARDWAXOIL should be tested beforehand. For industrial applications (rolling, spraying), the Ciranova® technical service should be consulted.
FINISHING
A coloured oil should be finished with a layer of HARDWAXOIL natural from the Ciranova® range of products. (HARDWAXOIL, HARDWAXOIL MAGIC or HARDWAXOIL TITAN).
MAINTENANCE
For regular maintenance we recommend Ciranova® FLOORING SOAP. For periodic maintenance, use Ciranova® MAINTENANCE OIL or first use INTENSIVE CLEANER in case of heavy dirt.
HARDWAXOIL is only fully hardened after +/- 7 days. During this period, the wood cannot be treated with water or maintenance products.
