It provides several advantages, including stain resistance, water repellency, and abrasion resistance. The finish creates a pleasant tactile surface and delivers a more even color and harmonious appearance compared to traditional finishes.
One of the notable benefits of Osmo Polyx®-Oil Tints is its simple application process, which eliminates the need for a primer or intermediate sanding. This saves both time and money during the finishing process.
The product is suitable for wood surfaces and features a microporous finish that prevents cracking, peeling, flaking, or blistering. It offers excellent resistance against common liquid spillages such as wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water, ensuring that no water spots are left behind (in accordance with German DIN 68861-1A).
Furthermore, the dry finish of Osmo Polyx®-Oil Tints is safe for humans, animals, and plants. It is resistant to saliva and perspiration according to German DIN 53160 standards and suitable for children’s toys according to EN 71.3 guidelines.
