STEP 1. Sand the surface scratch free according to industry standards. Final sanding grit should be between 80-120.

STEP 2. Clean the surface with Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner and a nylon scrubbing brush. Use a mixture of 10% RubioMonocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner and 90% water. Rinse well with clean water afterwards.

STEP 3. Allow the surface to dry well

STEP 4. Stir Rubio Woodcream well before use. Apply evenly to the vertical surface with the RMC Woodcream Brush. Work with thegrain in sections approximately 3 to 4 boards wide. • We advise to keep a wet edgde to avoid overlaps • With rough, absorbant or dry wood (<14% MC) we advise to dilute the product with Rubio Woodcream Softener (proportion: max1:1)

STEP 5. In case a more opaque result is required, you can apply a second layer after at least 3 hours. To avoid applying too heavily,dilute the Rubio Woodcream this time with 25% or 50% Rubio Woodcream Softener, depending on the desired result. • Since the first layer is already water-repellent, the second layer will not adhere to the first layer as easily. We recommend spreadingthe product with the block brush on the first layer in one smooth movement and go over it several times

STEP 6. Allow the surface to dry 12 hours.
