Surface Preparation:

Ensure that the wood surface is clean, dry (moisture content max. 18%), and free of dust.
Osmo Maintenance Oil is ready to use and should not be thinned.
Before use, stir the Maintenance Oil well to ensure proper consistency.
Thoroughly clean the surface with Osmo Intensive Cleaner and rinse with clear water using a damp mop.
Keep in mind that the finished surface appearance can be affected by various factors, including the condition of the wood. Therefore, it is recommended to perform a trial application, especially on unfamiliar surfaces.

Method of Application:

Use either the Osmo Double Blade Scraper or Osmo Microfibre Roller to apply the Maintenance Oil.
Apply the oil thinly and evenly to the clean and dry wood, following the direction of the wood grain.
Rub the Maintenance Oil into the wood using a white pad (except for product 3098, do not rub it in). This step helps ensure proper penetration and absorption.
Remove any excess product to avoid over-application.
For smaller areas, you can apply the Maintenance Oil with a lint-free cloth.
Provide good ventilation during the drying process.
