Dry Time:
The Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax has a dry time of approximately 3 minutes at room temperature.

Coverage:
It provides a coverage of approximately 16 square meters per liter, depending on the substrate and method of application.

Coats:
One coat is recommended, but additional coats can be applied to deepen the color/shade and enhance the sheen level.

Recommended for Use On:
Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax is ideal for use on fine furniture, doors, floors, cabinet work, and paneling.

Preparation:
Sand the wooden substrate in stages, starting with a medium sandpaper (120 grit) and progressing to a medium/fine grade (180-220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain pattern if possible, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue before applying Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax. To emphasize the grain pattern, use a clean wire brush and drag it along the grain to open the pores. Seal the wood with a coat of Transparent Shellac Polish.

Ideal Application:
Apply the liming wax generously using a lint-free cotton cloth or 0000 steel wool, working it well into the grain in a circular motion. Once the surface is completely covered, lightly rub across the grain to ensure the liming wax remains in the open pores. Leave it for approximately 5-10 minutes, then buff in the direction of the grain with a soft cotton cloth. To further enhance the sheen level and provide protection, finish with a coat of Clear Supreme Wax Polish.
