Recommended protection with Bona Hard Wax Oil: When using Bona Nordic Tone with colored oils, it is recommended to protect the surface with a layer of Bona Hard Wax Oil. This additional layer simplifies maintenance and helps prevent the color from wearing off, ensuring long-lasting results.

Coverage: 8-10 mý/lit and application

1. Using an oil application sleeve or a fine, wide floor brush, apply one even layer of Bona Nordic Tone in the direction of the wood (8–10 m2/litre (120–100 g/m2). Overlap wet–on–wet.

2. If more intensity is desired or if the first application is uneven, then it is possible to apply a second layer after 1–2 hours.

3. Allow the final application to dry for 5–10 hours

4. Gently sand the surface with a Bona Scrad Pad attached under a buffing machine (low rpm). Move the machine quickly and systematically.

5. Vacuum to remove dust.

6. Apply Bona Craft Oil in the preferred colour. Apply using a Bona WoolPad.

7. Remove surplus oil with cotton cloths and allow surface to dry overnight, min 12 hours.

8. If a coloured oil has been used then we advise to apply an additional layer of Bona Hard Wax Oil to protect the effect colouring. Apply thinly using a roller.
