The lacquer is the perfect choice when you want to maintain the natural look and feel of pure wood. It is designed to provide medium wear protection, making it suitable for use in residential settings or lightly trafficked commercial areas.
The lacquer offers enhanced protection for the wood surface, ensuring its longevity and durability. It effectively guards against common sources of damage such as wear, scratches, and impacts.
One of the key features of this lacquer is its ability to retain the natural characteristics of wood. It allows the grain and texture to shine through, providing an authentic and organic appearance. The lacquer does not alter the color or tone of the wood significantly, preserving its natural beauty.
During application, the lacquer exhibits excellent flow and leveling properties. This ensures a smooth and even finish without streaks or brush marks, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.
The lacquer meets the A+ and GREENGUARD standards, guaranteeing low emissions and promoting good indoor air quality. It combines the desired enhanced protection and natural look of pure wood with the environmental benefits of a lacquer that meets strict certification criteria.
1. Apply Bona Mega Natural using a Bona Roller. Roll with a smooth flowing motion alternately across and with the grain of the wood avoiding accumulations of product. Always maintain a “wet edge” to avoid overlaps. Allow to dry.
2. Apply a second layer of Bona Mega Natural. If necessary make an intermediate sanding using a screen or the Bona Scrad System grit P150 (or finer) and remove dust before applying a final layer of lacquer. Note: If the previous layer of lacquer has been allowed more than 24 hours drying time then an intermediate sanding is always required.
The floor will take light foot traffic approximately 8 hours after the final application. Allow the surface to dry for at least 1 week before covering with carpets or other floor coverings, or
loading with heavy objects. Also avoid damp mopping the floor during this time.
