Make sure that the collection container is empty and that the pre-filter is correctly fitted. Check that the filters of the machine are intact and unharmed.

Check the cable for damage. Connect the cable to a 230 V power socket which should have at least a slow fuse of 6 A. And for your own safety always use an earth leakage circuit breaker.

Connect the vacuum hose to the DCS 50 and the other end to the preferred sanding machine or to the suction tube. Connect the sanding machine’s power cord to the DCS 50 if auto-start is
preferred.

Bona DCS 50 can be used with machines with a power rating of up to 2200 W.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

When the machine has been correctly assembled and connected it can be switched on and off by using the start button. Observe that the machine is equipped with an alarm system which registers low air flow. When using handheld power tools, we recommend using the Air Flow Control. Open the Control to secure that the Airflow is sufficient.

Bona DCS 50 is equipped with a power outlet with automatic start/stop. The vacuum cleaner will start once the connected sanding machine or other electrical tool is switched ON and similarly stop (with delay) when switched OFF. The automatic start/stop is activated by turning the start button to position N° 2 Automatic. The machine will not start until the connected machine is started.

Note: Maximum power consumption of the connected machine must not exceed 2200 W. If a more powerful
machine is to be used, make sure to connect that machine to a separate / independent wall socket.
